Colors of Asia
Colors of Asia is a collection of photographs created as a result of journeys through various Asian countries between 2002 and 2007. This photographic travelogue seeks to convey the atmosphere and light of those distant regions, without insisting on a single unifying photographic theme. From landscapes and scenes of everyday life to portraits, the common thread running through all the selected photographs is color—saturated and explosive, unfamiliar and unusual to the European eye, often bordering on Asian kitsch.
